Where
do you go when you need help?
Do
you feel stuck? Do you feel like you have nothing to gain and nothing left to
lose? If so, you are not alone!
Many
people just like you have turned to the caring staff at the Philadelphia Access
Center. Here they found the help and advice they needed to not only survive but
to thrive.
The
Philadelphia Access Center provides our clients with a loving and caring
environment. Here you are valued and understood.

Why
we do what we do:
Jesus
taught us to love God with all our heart, all our soul, all our strength, and
all our mind and to love our neighbor as our self. A man once asked Jesus,
“Who is my
neighbor?”
Jesus replied with an illustration about a traveler who was attacked and badly
beaten. Many people saw this man’s affliction but did nothing to help. Finally
a man from a different country, race and culture stopped and helped the man.
He cared for him and made provision for him so he could fully recover
from his wounds. He did this with no thought of repayment or reward. After
telling this story Jesus asked, “Who would you say was a neighbor to the man
who was attacked by bandits?” The man replied, “The one who showed him
mercy.” Then Jesus said, “Yes, now go and do the same.” Here at the
Philadelphia Access Center we wish to honor Jesus Christ our Lord and show His
love, through our actions, to our neighbors.

Our Mission
To
match clients with the appropriate service provider, so that the body of
Christ, acting as conduit of God’s love, can effectively provide help
and healing to individuals, families and the community.
