Dennis Recenes

Building Maintenance

Dennis now calls South Philadelphia home though he moved 33 times before he settled here in High School. He and his wife Elaine first heard of the center from attending church at First Christian Assembly.  Dennis, a Marine and Vietnam Veteran, asked Elaine, who had been a long-time friend to his family, to marry him eight years ago after his wife passed and Elaine had been through a divorce.  God brought them back to Philadelphia when Elaine's mom was sick, after they each had been living in Florida.   He enjoys reading, doing Saduko and spending time with his wife walking through the city of Philadelphia.  Dennis takes great care of our building and helps with the maintenance and care.  Between he and Elaine, they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.

Our work is only possible through your generosity.
